Each of Zita’s companions has a particular way of speaking: One is brash and grandiose, Randy the robot stutters nervously, and Mouse has a typewriter attached to his collar that prints out pictures (since he can’t speak). ![]() The standout feature is definitely the great cast of characters, which includes a number of bizarre aliens and quirky robots. Zita the Spacegirl is such a delightful graphic novel. During her adventures, Zita befriends a con man, a giant mouse, aliens, and several robots. Determined to save her friend, Zita follows the portal to an alien planet that is about to be destroyed by an incoming meteor. Zita and her friend Joseph find a mysterious device that, when enabled, suddenly spawns a portal that whisks Joseph away. ![]()
